These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Linden Call (“Linden Call,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Linden Call places daily voice check-in calls to a person you designate and delivers summaries, transcripts, and recordings of those calls to you. The service is a supportive tool and is not a substitute for professional medical, emergency, or caregiving services.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use Linden Call. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Your responsibilities
- You confirm you have the right to provide the phone number and information of the person we call, and to receive summaries about them.
- You are responsible for informing that person that calls may be recorded and transcribed, and for complying with applicable recording and consent laws.
- You will provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You will not use the service for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
Not for emergencies
Linden Call does not provide emergency monitoring or response. If you believe someone is in danger or needs urgent help, contact local emergency services immediately. We do not guarantee that any particular call will connect or that any condition will be detected.
Subscriptions and billing
Linden Call is offered on a subscription basis with a free trial. After the trial, your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to disrupt it, reverse engineer it, access it without authorization, or use it to harass, deceive, or harm others.
Intellectual property
Linden Call and its content are owned by us and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these Terms.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Linden Call will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
